Subject: Request for appeal of deactivated account

To Whom It May Concern,

.

A couple of weeks ago, my account was disabled following an intrusion into a page that I manage. I am not sure how this individual gained access to the page, but I suspect that it was via my account. I learned of this activity when I woke up on Tuesday, June 1. The profile and header images on the page I manage for the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival had been replaced with new graphics depicting some kind of communist propaganda. I immediately attempted to log into my Facebook account, but soon learned that there had been some kind of intrusion into my account, as Facebook was asking me to verify my identity. I submitted the requested information, and after a couple of screens I was informed that my account had been disabled for violating the platform’s community guidelines. This was surprising, because I have always been careful about what I do post on my personal profile and Facebook pages.

.

I am hoping that somebody could review my case and then get back with me as soon as possible. My son passed away from brain cancer in April, and there are a number of photos that I hope to access. I also manage a number of pages which need to be attended to, including the one for the festival, a local historical society, and a page for my son.

.

The email address for my account is 32bpwr3@gmail.com, and it is under the name Jon A. Morgan.

.

Thanks,

.

Jon
